Recovery 5“I think it’s about time you returned to the O.R. don’t you?” Dr. Rousseau’s words echoed through Markus’s mind. “Are you sure about this Luc, I mean…I don’t think.” Rousseau slammed his hands on his desk, the resulting shockwave caused a picture to come crashing down off the wall. “Damn it Vaughn! What are you a crybaby or a surgeon! You Can’t run from your past forever! If you fall off a bike you get back on and if a patient dies on the table you don’t run away, you get back into the O.R. and try twice as hard on saving the next patient!” Markus was shaking, he had neverRecovery 5

Appearance- Large centipede like organism surrounding the heart. Made up of ten segments. Each of the segments have two “legs” on each side that burrow into the heart to hold the organism in place.
Surgical Caution- Blindly cutting or trying to remove it in one piece will cause the organism to constrict dropping vitals drastically. Using the laser will cause the legs to uproot causing large hemorrhaging lacerations. Antibiotic Gel has no effect on it. Drain has no effect on it.

Recovery 4“Call it Val.” “Time of death, 9:15.” Markus dropped his scalpel and walked out of the O.R. He staggered through the hallways with a dazed look on his face. All around him the sights, sounds and smells of Caduceus were clouded. He staggered out of the building and into the parking lot. Markus felt for his keys, nothing, “DAMN IT!” screamed Markus as he drove his fist into the driver’s side window. The window shattered upon impact, leaving gashes of various length and depth running up his arm. Blood poured out of the wound at an alarming rate, Markus didn’t care. Recovery 3Dark clouds loomed over the Angeles Bay Cemetery as the entire Caduceus team, minus Markus, came to pay their respects to their fallen comrade, Dr. Robert Cromwell. Inside the cemetery’s chapel Caduceus USA director Irene Quatro stood at the podium to deliver the eulogy. “Robert Cromwell was one of the best doctors Caduceus had to offer. Though he may have had an annoying tendency to ramble on about useless information, he never lost sight of the tasks set before him.
